FAQ

PToc is a wireless full-duplex intercom and Tally system designed for real-time team coordination. It uses a 5.8GHz self-forming network to deliver low-latency, hands-free communication across multiple channels — without cabling.

PToc is ideal for broadcast teams, live events, OB vans, theater productions, and emergency command centers — any environment where smooth, reliable, group communication is critical.

Up to 16 beltpacks and desktop stations (combined) can be connected to a single PToc-Host.

The PToc system offers a line-of-sight communication range of up to 500 meters.

Yes. PToc supports both 2-wire and 4-wire interfacing, as well as AUX input/output, making it compatible with most broadcast intercom systems.

Not at all. PToc is plug-and-play — power on the host and beltpacks, and they auto-connect. No need for a dedicated router or switch configuration.

Yes. Users can press-and-hold to talk (half-duplex) or double-tap to switch to full-duplex mode, enabling hands-free, natural conversations.

Yes. PToc integrates directly with popular switchers such as BMD, OBS, vMix, and others. Beltpacks support wired bi-color Tally lights, and the host has direct Tally outputs — no converter box required.

Absolutely. PToc supports:

  • Base stations to extend wireless coverage.

  • IP-based remote linking for cross-city or international communication.

  • Seamless integration with TOCTEC IToc, our cloud intercom system.
